The HTS (high throughput screening) consists in testing, with a machine, actual synthesized compounds for properties. When you use it, you need to buy the synthesized molecules, and hire enough people to run it.
If we work on the first stage of lead discovery in pharmacy (pre-screening of compounds), we achieve a cost reduction of 95% (cost divided by 20x) thanks to applying our in silico procedures!
Similarly, our methods allow for lowering the risk of false positive, hence limiting the risk of significant research effort in the later phases of development.
